I led the rebrand of JSP alongside designer Franco Zacha and shaped the organization's external and digital communications.
One aspect of my work that has always been the most rewarding, wherever I go, is helping people get their work onto a platform for the world to see. That is what led me to propose launching a Substack. It was a strategic move to create a dedicated space for long-form storytelling and analysis, where our research, insights, and field experience could reach people actively seeking to learn and engage. It allows JSP to go beyond reports and one-off posts, build a consistent voice, and develop a direct relationship with an audience that cares about systems change. We were the first criminal legal system organization to put our work and research out into the world on Substack.
